Foosh Pa

is a single, bite-sized hors d’œuvre. Foosh Pa's are only available at The Hartford, CT based Max Restaurant Group and are different from appetizers in that they are not ordered from a menu by patrons, but, when served, are done so according to the chef's selection alone. These, often accompanied by a complementing wine, are served as a little tingler for the taste buds both to prepare the guest for the meal and to offer a glimpse into the chef's approach to cooking.

Frosh Pack

A large herd of roaming freshman typically found on a college campus. There is usually an alpha-male present, i.e. one member of the pack who has connections to elder members of the campus, thus allowing the frosh pack to drink at the elder's watering hole.

A frosh pack, although usually docile, may become more aggressive as the night goes on and the drinks go down. As a result, approach with great caution and never look the alpha-male straight in the eye.
