Efuru is a native name from the eastern part of Nigeria, only used amongst a particular community 'oguta'. The name simply means a worthy, precious ,immeasurable female child who brings light amongst her peers,family and society at large....She is a jewel that shines in the midst of jewels, bringer of good things and wealth....A treasure above another..
