When you're constantly hungry, and realize it's because you haven't eaten any meat all day. It's that unquenchable appetite that can only be relieved by a big-ass burger, steak, leg of lamb, pile-o-bacon, etc. Word was coined by Tony "Thunder" in July of 2011 after eating a life-saving meat lover's pizza.
All I had to eat today was a bagel and some captain crunch. I gotta eat a steak or some bacon soon, my diameatus is really actin up.

However, it is not necessarily a nice word to use in public in offense to those who have suffered the diabetes condition(s). Diabeetus is caused by having a glucose "high," when a person cannot either process sugars naturally or had to much over a span of time being obese.
Type 1 diabeetus is a chronic condition when the pancreas can't provide enough insulin to counteract the glucose.
Type 2 diabeetus is a chronic condition when the entire body fails to process sugars.
Type Infinity diabeetus is when one man consumes all of the glucose made in the entire universe and when all matter is processed into sugar that it consumes, so that only it exists and lives yet perishes after the consumption of all of the glucose to exist. This is the most bittersweet way to die eating what you like.
