Demaroguery

The rhetorical tool used by Sarah Palin to manipulate popular prejudices and make faulty claims to gain popularity, power, and score a spot on Faux News.
Sarah Palin’s memoir, "Going Rogue" is a disturbing mix of fantasy and propaganda – the creation myth of a demagogue. When you combine the rogue image Palin paints with her penchant for demagoguery, it's pure demaroguery.

demagoguery

The actions of a leader who manipulates his or her underlings by angering, impassioning, or scaring them, usually with false claims or wild speculation. This is done to strengthen the leader's power, and/or to further a political agenda.
Some asshole shot somebody at a park today and anti-gun demagoguery is already pouring in from liberal politicians.
