Debsflecting

The art of deflecting a topic which requires your input. Especially prevalent with tasks that require physical exertion or potential embarrassment. The tactic is often to immediately suggest someone else is responsible for said task or has done said deed rather than to change topic completely. This tactic is never successful.

After being called out for the ice bucket challenge:

They pretend to be someone they're not so when people don't like them it doesn't bother them because, hey, it's not them.

The kind of person who uses esoteric phrases not in common parlance who when questioned tells you to google them rather than explaining themselves.

Rather than tell the detective what he meant by someone being "washed" he instead told him to google it like the deflecting douche he was.

It doesn't fucking matter if other people have or have had a worse life you fucking retard. That doesn't mean anything. That isn't an actual argument. Other people's lives being shit does not meant that I have to accept a mundane or sub par existence.
