Clipbait is similar to clickbait. However, instead of a misleading headline or title designed to bring in views or 'clicks', clipbaiting is taking a particular piece of footage or audio - a 'clip' - and removing it from the rest of the piece. This is done in such a way to remove it from the context of the full clip to alter the meaning of the original clip.
Note: Clipbait can be differentiated from (or, rather, include Quote Mining ) in that it can include both the usage of cherry-picked audio quotes OR wholly visual clips.
