Charratte is used mostly as a exclamatory word. Besides, often it is used to describe a happening as the best one. It is used as a synonym of "to hang out". Used both in slang Bengali and slang English.
Used in Santiniketan

Srijan: I won the table tennis championship!

Soumyadip: Really? Charratte!
