autotexted

An event where in the middle of writing a text message, the phone's auto-correct software changes a word to what it assumes is correct, based on similarities in the word's structure, length, or letters to another word. This can often cause a miscommunication and result in two confused and angry individuals.

Texter "Ya so I was walking into the store and the murderer came up to me and told me I was fired."

Receiver "Lol wut?"

Texter "*manager, my phone just fucking autotexted me."

The act of sending a text message without putting any thought or consideration into to what the text actually says. Usually occurs while watching TV or talking.
