When making the perfect microwave popcorn, you listen to the corn pop to the point where it stops then you turn off the microwave. You wait to open the door until the after pop, where you hear an additional kernel pop after the microwave is off.

Don't open the door, I'm waiting for the after pop.

After-Hours Thigh Popping

The continuation of thigh popping beyond conventional gym hours and into evening social activities.

After-hours thigh popping occurs when someone wears the same extremely short athletic shorts to restaurants, bars, late-night coffee shops, and other social settings where athletic clothing is not functionally necessary.

The practice reflects the modern thigh popper’s apparent belief that three-inch shorts are not merely workout clothing but an acceptable all-day, all-night wardrobe.

The transition from daytime to evening requires no change of clothing, no additional fabric, and no reduction in thigh visibility.

Bro 1: “Dude, it’s almost midnight. You’re still wearing your three-inch shorts?”

Bro 2: “Yeah, bro. After-hours thigh popping.”

Bro 1: “You wore those to the gym this morning.”

Bro 2: “And the thighs aren’t off duty yet.”
