5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) are an Australian band (not in the same category as boyband because they're all talented as shit as far as instruments) that consists of Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Calum Hood (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (backing vocals/guitar), and Ashton Irwin (drums). Schoolmates Luke, Calum, and Michael formed 5sos in 2011, and Ashton was later added. They are the opening act for One Direction on the Take Me Home North American leg. Now, I could go all day about my feels and how much it hurts but I'll keep it at this: these boys are sex. their music is keeps me jamming. cake for life.

Band members: Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings , Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford started by posting YouTube videos of themselves doing covers. They gained more popularity when going on tour with One Direction. They started Sounds Live Feels Live tour shortly after their album Sounds Good Feels Good was released.

A shitty boyband. They themselves aren't bad, but it is their unbearable fangirls who will deny to the grave that 5 seconds of summer is a boyband. The main argument is that they play their own instruments so that disqualifies them from boyband status, which of course is false. Also more annoying is the imaginary link that has been made with this boyband, and real punk rock bands. They and their fanbase like to wear classic punk rock t-shirts, although most of them have no fucking idea what they are wearing.
