snizzle

A light, misty precipitation that falls from the sky, consisting of a mixture of very small snowflakes and tiny droplets of rain. It can also refer to the sound of this precipitation hitting a surface.

Looking out the window, I saw a fine snizzle falling, making everything look hazy and damp.
