Go yard

Another way of saying “go hard,” which is a phrase used by athletes to describe their mentality in a game. Made famous in an interview with Todd Peterson (pitcher, Louisiana State University) after he had just hit a two-run double.

Reporter: “What was your mentality when you stepped up to the plate?”

Todd: “Go yard.”

father: are you nuts? since when re you so politically opinionated? I think it's your mother's upbringing. she's the one whose supposed to be politically opinionated, not you.
