A stereotypical name of African-American females. Also often used as a slightly derogatory term when referring to Afro-American people, black 'ghetto' culture or Ebonics.

"Woah Shaniqua" - theoretical Caucasian upon hearing of or witnessing some positively hoodrat behavior unfolding.
