When a narcissist paints a pleasing and vivid picture of a future together with their victim in order to gain access to what the narcissist wants in the short term (sex/resources) with zero intention of that alleged future becoming a reality

AJ Said he wants to buy a house and live in it with me and get married but he won’t even change his public relationship status from single and is making no effort to not live at home with his parents, I could smell the narcissism coming off him I can tell he’s full of shit, he’s just future fishing and love bombing me. Needless to say I will not be letting him hit lol
