Aesthetics actually refer to a plethora of things such as design and artistry, however this term has been altered in pop-culture as a synonym for "I'm obsessed with my muscles and spend way too much time flexing in the mirror"

Like the popular trend that everyone does on tumblr and pinterest. There can be aesthetic bedrooms for example fairy lights, tapestrys, plants, and colorful things. There can also be aesthetic wallpapers like crying bart simpson, flowers, quotes, and more.

A term a lot of girls use. Generally means pleasing to the eye, but many times they say "my aesthetic is..." some examples include vaporwave, city pop, classicism, zodiac, etc. Generally, though, girls who are 'aesthetic' like checkers, pastel colours, and lofi music.
