A term used to describe the large collection of punk-derivative "core" bands, their fans, and their culture. The bands can play a variety of sub genres , ranging from metalcore, emo, and post-hardcore, to pop-punk and melodic hardcore. Fans are stereotypically middle and high school aged girls, but there is a good portion of young adults and males in the Scene as well. Some of the more popular bands that were included in the Scene are My Chemical Romance, early Fall Out Boy, and Pierce the Veil.

Get the The Scenemug. Refers mostly to the local music scene. Has of late become quite trendy and a lot of people follow or attempt to be scene. Adopting the big spiky hair and bright colored clothes, tight jeans and band tees. But there's a lot more to it then just outward appearance, nd thats how you can usually separate the real scene kids from the posers. Real scene kids are completely original, nd aren't rlly trying to 'follow' anything. Posers love to brag about how scene they are and tend to be arrogant and rlly good at pissing ppl off.

Get the Scenemug. Another word for what used to be emo; minus the cutting wrists and depression. In other words, a cover-up of a new, more arrogant lifestyle. Scene kids usually wear super-tight jeans, shop at stores like hot topic and thrift stores, and wear thick eyeliner. They speak in chatspeak (aka: LYK OMG! UR NEW HURR IS THE S3X BBY! <333) They have a big ego, but the pit is the only place they belong. Well, the guys at least. They dance hardcore in the moshpit, flailing their arms in an angry rage. The girls, however, usually stand to the side and headbang, until they get whiplash and cry " OMG MY NECK H3RTS FRUM ALL THAT H34D BaNG!N9 LAST N!TE!!!!!11!!" That is pretty much scene kids in a nutshell.

Get the Scenemug. Scenes usually have brown, white blonde, normal blonde hair is fine too, and black . They wear tu-tu's, & they aren't like emos, you could say. They wear colorful stuff, for example.
Blue tu tu, Pink nailpolish, Neon green shirt.
Some wear coontails, which are kinda like a raccoon design and a random color. Like..green.
Or they usually have 2+ hair colored extensions, sometimes real hair. Their hair is usually boob length, and their bangs are about to their eyes, sometimes you can't even see them.
Scene girls usually have another color on their underhairs. Likee, the hair under allll of yer otherr hair, lmfao
Like ferr example, if their is a white blonde, they USUALLY, not always, have black hair underneath .
Scene guys mostly have black hair, or brown hair mixed with blonde hair . & spiked up too . sometimes .
There are scene queens, which of course are the queens of all the scenes! They usually have REALLY poofy hair, in the back. Some might even havee pink hair !
They LOVE dinosaurs. They will wear dino shirtss. Carebear shirts, girly shirts mostly. Girls where either band shirts, er girly shirts. and skinny jeans .
& Guys wear sometimes robot shirts, and girl skinny jeans. Vans or converse is verryy popular for scenes.
They kinda use slanngg . & are pretty childish in a good way

Get the scenemug. Scenesters, are participants in a giant contest on the Internets to see who can sport the most ridiculous hair,listen to the most obscure, artfully tasteless music, and get away with not being called emo.
Scene and emo both share some common elements of fashion, hair, and homosexuality. Calling a scenester an emo will result in anger.
The main difference between emos and scenesters is scenesters are less depressed and whiny and a lot more retarded and obnoxious.
Unlike emos, who are stuck up because they are faking depression, scene kids are stuck up for the sake of... being stuck up.
