When media has exciting action and characters with aura, but the actual writing is ok at best. Most commonly used to describe certain anime.

Person 1: "Is this anime any good? I'm thinking of getting into it."

Person 2: "It's pretty much just hype moments and aura, don't expect any complex writing."

Someone who only chases products that are hype at the moment. They only care about what others think of them not about the actual quality or enjoyment of the product itself. Typically low esteem cloud chasers who can't pull hoes.
