From Cinderella's "turning into a pumpkin" at a certain hour, here we have events that certain people generally don't get to because it'll interfere with their bedtime.

We tried getting reservations to <snazzy restaurant>, but they only had a slot at 10pm, which we gave up because Autumn starts pumpkinizing around then.

Pumpkinox

The Pumpkinox is the official started date of Pumpkin Spice Latte (aka PSL) season, also known as Pumpkin Spice Season. Much like how the Equinox marks the start of Spring and Fall. The date for the Pumpkinox is not stationary as it can fall anywhere between late August and early September depending on the year, as dictated by Starbucks. This holiday is most associated with Fall, coffee shops, and basic white girls.

Did you hear they moved the Pumpkinox to August 27th this year?!? Can't wait to get my first PSL of the season.

A drink from starbucks that many white girls drink during the fall while dressed in boots (typically uggs), yoga pants (or leggings of some sort), and a jacket.

There must have been a lot of pumpkin spice lattes at the university in the winter, because all of the girls were wearing yoga pants, uggs, and a jacket.

Smashing Pumpkins

A popular mainstream-alternative rock band that was around from 1988-2000. They had several #1 albums such as Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. They were one of the more popular alternative bands of the 90s. Lead singer Billy Corgan and Drummer Jimmy Chamberlin started a band called Zwan in 2000. D'arcy
Wretzky and James Iha founded Scratchy Records after the Smashing Pumpkins broke up.

Damn I wish I saw the Smashing Pumpkins before they broke up, now there will always be a hole in my heart that I can never fill.
