Democratic socialism

A political ideology advocating a transition to a socially owned economy through democratic means. Democratic socialism is not to be confused with social democracy (an ideology that advocates for a mixed economy and a welfare state, while retaining the structure of capitalism).
Notable advocates of Democratic socialism include Clement Attlee, Jeremy Corbyn, Eugene V. Debs, Albert Einstein, and Martin Luther King Jr.

National Socialism

A ideology that is Post Marxist, Anti Marxist and race socialist. This ideology was propped up intellectually by Drexler, Hitler, Darre, Backe and Feder. It is a bigoted race socialism that seeks a Germanic superstate that throws down the "Jewish Cartel of International Capitalists" and its guardian angels, the Marxists, to create a half agraian, half industrial utopia where socialism exists for the racially pure Aryans and no one else. It despises communism because it still is a form of capitalism for the Nazis. It was a grassroots and popular party among the German working class and worked with the political enviroment of Germany at the time. Its views on Veganism, Enviromentalism, solidarity, welfare and the supreme control of the means of production through central planning are rarely talked about seriously.
Normal Person:"Hey, I have been reading theory of National Socialism, and I see it as a form of consequentialist ideology like Marxism."

Illiterate Person:"Yeah, and the Democratic Republic of Korea is a democracy. Shut up Fash."

sewer socialism

Originally a pejorative term for the the Socialist Party of America, sewer socialism is a form of socialism that focuses on improving quality of life from the ground up instead of reform through revolution. Examples include sanitation systems, city-owned water and power, improved quality of education and so on. Also known as Constructive Socialism, and is considered a pregenitor to Democratic Socialism.
"We wanted our workers to have pure air, we wanted them to have sunshine, we wanted planned homes, we wanted living wages; we wanted recreation for young and old; we wanted vocational education; we wanted a chance for every human being to be strong and live a life of happiness.

And, we wanted everything that was necessary to give them that: playgrounds, parks, lakes, beaches, clean creeks and rivers, swimming and wading pools, social centers, reading rooms, clean fun, music dance song and joy for all."
-- Emil Seidel, Milwaukee's first socialist mayor, describing his sewer socialism platform

Thoreauvian Socialism

A synthesis of Thoreau’s emphasis on individual conscience, simple living, and civil disobedience with socialist commitments to collective ownership, economic democracy, and the abolition of exploitation. Thoreauvian socialism argues that true simplicity and self-reliance are impossible under capitalism, where workers are alienated and nature is commodified. It calls for a society where people voluntarily cooperate, live lightly on the land, and resist state and corporate power through direct action. The state is tolerated only as a tool for common good, but always subject to Thoreauvian non‑cooperation.
Example: “Their ecovillage ran on consensus, shared resources, and a vow to withhold taxes from military spending—Thoreauvian socialism: from each according to ability, but only if the work lets you watch the sunrise.”
