A pretentious lover of knowledge who seeks to acquaint themselves platonically (or otherwise) with an individual (who may or may not fall into an older age group) in order to gain unlimited access to a surplus of knowledge whilst moving up the social hierarchal ladder.

Person 1: "Tiffany's such a golddigger; I swear she's only dating that guy for his money."
Person 2: "Nah, she's a neo-golddigger; she's just dating him so she can get better grades."
Person 1: "Either way, it's a bitch move."
Person 2: "True."
