Get the bus sicknessmug. BU stands for Bangtan Universe, an alternate universe that BTS made. The story officially started way back 2015 and is still ongoing today. ARMY makes a lot of BU theories since BTS and Big Hit company left it open for interpretation. The clues for BU are found in: BTS music videos, notes that they include in albums, short films and etc.. The BU storyline tackles about realistic problems we face in real life. Depression, anxiety, abusive parents, abandonment, traumas, poverty and many more. BU also teaches ARMY to slowly learn to love ourselves. And BU is also inspired from books like Damian.
