A Green Screen Kid is someone who uses the green screen feature on Youtube Shorts to steal and gain more views than the original short. Usually they would cover their face with any object or face their device to the ground while using the feature, preventing their face from being visible.

Person 1: The fuck? Someone just stole my video and gained more views and likes than me
Person 2: Probably one of those damn Green Screen Kids.

a kid who, most of the time on youtube shorts, uses the remix feature to put a small green screen version of themselves on a usually viral video, most of the time in the bottom left corner, hidden under the caption.

they do this because it tends to get a LOT of views.

In late 2023, I saw a green screen kid on my shorts feed. Now, they're all I see.

An annoying kid that will steal your videos they will also chill in the corner of the video and sit there reacting. Sometimes these kids will go even farther and make there icons smaller or even hide there face all together luckily you can spot them just by seeing the "Greenscreen with username" I have no idea why youtube added this feature its just there for kids to steal and farm views.

Green Screen Kids are used for stealing videos and getting a million views.

Creator: Nuh uh you will not steal my videos.

Green Screen Kids

Green Screen Kids are a naturally occurring phenomenon in the nature of YouTube Shorts. This phenomenon is created when a little kid takes a video on YouTube, and uses the green screen feature, a feature made for reaction, however, the kid will usually just hide themselves in the corner and/or use their finger to block themselves out of view, stealing the video without providing any commentary.
This really should go under fair use copyright restrictions, but is not enforced.
