Froehliching
Used to describe a situation where the person states something with complete confidence and conviction, but is absolutely incorrect.
Angi was adamant that she had packed all of the dive gear, and stated so several times during the trip. But she was only froehliching as the buoyancy compensators were not in the dive bag when needed.
