The Process of leaving an empty room, shutting the door and assuming the light has turned itself off.

Usually some thing a parent would complain about.

you've got fridge Door Syndrome again, turn off the bloody lights!!

One Door Syndrome

When a collective group of people attempt to use only one door of a train when other doors are available. Usually ingorning requests from station staff to us all doors.

Oh look they all have one door syndrome today! Can't they see the other empty doors!

German car door syndrome

When you want to humourously imply that take away rubbish, pizza boxes etc. can be thrown out of the car by holding the door ajar and sliding the boxes under the car. Has its origins in Northern England which had uncommonly high number of Golf ownership amongst young adults in the 90s.

Person 1: "What should I do with my pizza box?"
Person 2: "The car has German car door syndrome"
