Although it was updated once in the 2016 Combat Update, another update to the dimension has been heavily requested by the game's community since the Nether Update and Caves & Cliffs updates in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Minecraft fans have been clamoring for an End update for years yet the most they’ve gotten is dead leaves and copper pickaxes.
