A get-out-of-jail-free-card for teams beaten by schools like Clemson (ACC) and Notre Dame (Independent). Fans of this division always claim that the thing is a gauntlet when it's a Georgia or Alabama sweep. Comparable to being the AL East of College Football.
Person 1: "Clemson beat insert half-decent school XX-xx!"
Person 2: "That's cool, but Notre Dame won 67-41."
Person 3: "You're both garbage, we would've automatically won 100-0"
*Persons 1 and 2 then laugh in insanity at Person 3 for not understanding that the SEC does not automatically make a team good (they are a Georgia fan, known for being the most Micky Mouse team in sport)*
