An individual with excessive years of internship at the same company, without receiving a job offer. Almost always is paid at half rate. Deserves little to no praise for work accomplished.

Those papers from the Senior Principle Intern finally arrived on my desk this morning, they are excessively late and faulty.

Shirky Principle

The principle in which institutions, or any organization, will try to preserve the problem to which they are supposed to be the solution.

(In reference to Author Clay Shirky (born 1964), an American writer, consultant and teacher on the social and economic effects of Internet technologies and journalism.)

The IRS is a Shirky Principle organization. It will never attempt to totally get rid of tax evasion, even if it could, because the IRS needs to be maintained for reasons to find tax evasion.

Sith Jar Jar Principle

When someone acts foolish or stupid to distract from their true goals or needs. this stems from the popular theory Jar Jar Binks acted to accomplish his own goals as a Sith Lord, while using the mask of a fool to fool the Jedi.

Guy : don’t trust that dude.
Gal : Why not, he seems kinda fun in a dumb way.
Guy : he’s using the Sith Jar Jar Principle (Sith JJ Principle) to rope you in, I wouldn’t trust him too much.
