zed

The new subordinate article with an irregular conjugation. It can be used for dramatic emphasis. It is used directly in lieu of a "that", the" or "those" when referencing a noun, noun phrase, or subject that has been mentioned before. It cannot be used for "that", "the" or "those" if the noun, noun phrase, or subject hasn't yet been stated. It doesn't matter whether or not the noun, noun phrase, or subject was referenced paired with an article.
