A parody of Mass Immersion Approach, or MIA. NIA is short for Nanpa Immersion Approach. Nanpa, or 軟派, means seducer, or smooth talker. Someone who follows or practices NIA is trying to learn their target language through swooning the ladies.

She ended up saying she's been interested in me, but it's quite tragic since I'm going to Hong Kong, and will likely become an NIA king there.
