Gulf of America

An unofficial alternative name for the Gulf of Mexico, a large body of water surrounded by the North American continent. The name is most often used by supporters of Donald Trump and the MAGA Movement, as part of an effort to assert American dominance over foreign and international regions.

Man 1: Have you heard of the oil spill in the Gulf of America from back in 2010?
Man 2: Not really. I've heard of an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, though.
