Abbreviation for New Westminster Secondary School. This school, evidently located in New Westminster, BC, Canada, is around 60 years old, with rats, and asbestos in the walls. However, it offers many programs such as french immersion, pre-IB, IB and sigma. As of 2010, around 2500 students attend this school. It takes up two full city blocks and consists of two separate wings, Massey and Pearson. It also features Mercer Stadium and Massey Theatre. The mascot is the hyack.

I'm doing the french IB program at nwss... its rough dude.

The change rooms in Pearson contain asbestos. Cool!
