"MOTP": "Misappropriation of trusted permissions" refers to the unauthorized use of access granted permissions by a trusted party for purposes not intended by the grantor.
Examples: leak of PII, if a trustee misuses
trust funds for
personal gain, banning, or kicking players unjustly, using commands for
personal gain.
Recently, a moderator on the 'Roxbot' server was found guilty of MOTP. The moderator, known as 'Goo9le,' misused their trusted permissions to sell unbans to players who had been banned for violating the server rules. This unauthorized action
compromised the integrity of the server's rules and policies, leading to a formal
investigation by the server's ex administrators Autesion. As a result, 'Goo9le' was
immediately demoted from their position as a Senior Moderator.
