A fine funk/rock/fusion band that hails from Richmond, Virginia. These fellas are some of the best damn players I have ever heard in my life. I can say that becuase I am in the band.

Mellodistik can funk it up like James Brown, but still refrain from beating significant others.

melloristic 

A derogatory term for a person who, although intelligent, often behaves in an incorrigible or immature manner. Alternatively used to describe incorrigible or intolerable behavior with the intention of reprimanding.

Although the melloristic child failed to complete his homework, he still pulled an A on the test.
The student demonstrated a melloristic disregard for his abilities by failing to complete his homework.

Melodistic 

Melodistic (other forms of the word: Melodistically, Melodisticous, or Melodistically-Dramatic) Music that is sadistically dramatic in a good way, often used to describe semi or fully symphonic bands, or bands that use moving/dramatic Synths.
