Lapilap Lap

Lapilap Lap is a french slang word originating from the projects districts outside Paris. The term has multiple meanings depending on the situation it is used in. One of the most common uses of the term is to express that you can relate to someone in your presence. But it can also be used as a happy greeting or a mutual dislike of a topic or person.

Person 1: "I can't get this report to work, my laptop keeps freezing!"
Person 2: Lapilap Lap!"
Person 1: "Thanks for the support, *sigh* I'll go get a cup of coffee while it restarts."

Lapslap

A prank where you quickly close someone's laptop when they're not expecting it or in the middle of working with it. Ideally the laptop is set to hibernate or shut down when the lid is closed so they have to then reboot their computer.

Best practice is to shout 'Awww, lapslap!' when lapslapping someone.

"Fuck, I just got lapslapped and my computer takes ages to restart... and I didn't save my essay."

The name for the card order forms, advertisements, etc. that fall out of a magazine.

"He'd rather not be the first to read his new magazines because he hated to suffer the ensuing barage of the lapflaps."
