Cartoonus interruptus 

When you stop your child's favorite cartoon before it ends, resulting in a high-pitched scream, followed by an incessant temper tantrum until cartoon is resumed.

"Why is Jimmy screaming bloody murder?"
"I turned off his cartoon so he can go to sleep."
"Oh no, cartoonus interruptus...you should have finished the cartoon."
