mothic

Combination of Mod and Gothic. Mothic is kind of tongue and cheek.

Dress is modern (1960's to present) fitted dark clothes opposed to the more yester-year whimsical or theatrical industrial looks of Goths, hence the Mod influence.

Music is usually a combination of danceable and dark but varies.
Carlos Dengler from Interpol could be called mothic.
