A Witalian is a person who is biracial, typically with one parent italian and the other caucasian. Complexities might include a child with one Witalian parent and another who is white/italian, or two Witalian parents (not a very common case). Similar to the term Wasian.

Peter is Witalian because he is not fully italian and his mom is white.
