To intentionally avoid doing your work by doing work-like activities which are more fun, usually taking place on Friday afternoons; may (unintentionally) irritate work colleagues.

Tarquin decided to obscuviate until beer o'clock as it's Friday and let's face it, the work can wait until Monday.
