The friend version of a non-disclosure agreement (without the paperwork). Undocumented, assumed, or unsaid agreement to not externally share confidential information told between friends.

Friend 1: “Did you tell them not to say anything about that secret?”
Friend 2: “Nah, we’re under frieNDA, they wouldn’t tell.”
