A term used when one is unsure of whether a romantic partner is/isn't a "bae."

Cathryn: So, how are things with Willy?

Melina: Ugh, I'm not sure. He keeps sending mixed signals. I'm not sure if I can officially call him my bae yet.

Cathryn: Oh, so he's maybe your bae?

Melina: Yeah, he's my maybae.
