the act of snowboarding. There really are two categories to it.
FREERIDE
famous people - Craig Kelly
Probably the most liberating action ever known to man. Ripping up an untouched powder bowl in Whistler or Baker. This is the superior of the two. Often involves natural things. Wind made Jumps, Trees, broken logs, etc.
FREESTYLE
famous people - Shaun White
The lesser of the two, though still better than Skiing. This often involves Rails, Boxes and large man made jumps. Also this is the activity that most posers claim to do, as it is more fashionable at the moment, made famous by the Olympics and X-Games.
FREERIDE
