Used as an expletive when something bad happens to you at that moment.

After hitting your finger with a hammer: "Mother's Ass that hurt! I gotta remember to wear my fucking glasses!"
or
When you wake up one morning and realize that you are living down by the river in your van: "Mother's Ass... this fucking blows!"
