The theoretical distance in bral that two completely different things or ideas would have from each other. The actual distance is unmeasurable and therefore unknown, in that even the two most divergent things or ideas can be compared or related in some remote way.
To be negatives or opposites is not enough to achieve bralscus. Green is not bralscus from red, as they are both colors despite being opposites. The same could be said of protons and electrons, Adolf Hitler and backgammon, grated cheese and the commutative property of multiplication, or the greek letter Kappa and Agaricus Bisporus.

A theoretical unit of measurement used to gauge the conceptual distance between two things or ideas.
The distance between "Scientology" and "Secular Theory" measures only a few bral, where "Unintentionally living a life comically-analogous with the Battle of Hastings" and "A particular unnamed fruit that Roger finds delicious" are significantly further apart.
