door stop

Verb: The act of stopping, usually for social purposes, in the exit doorway of a large venue as everybody else in the event is attempting to leave, thus stopping all forward movement of the crowd. Usually results in gridlocked aisles. See also: aisle salmon

I was trying to leave the Jonas Brothers concert before anyone I knew saw me, but some stupid teeny bopper pulled a door stop and Bobby Sue spotted me.
