The 20080s describe, aside from a decade 18 millenia into the future, the surge in popularity of fashion, music, movies, tv, art and references from or inspired by the 80s (aka the 1980s) towards the end of the first decade of the new millenia, the 2000s.

"Did you see Brian's new American Apparel jacket? He looked like the 80s shat him out on my doorstep."
