grigh 

An overly obnoxious noise used when an individual feels the need to be noticed by all within hearing distance, while also conveying that they are stressed. The Grigh is a cross between a traditional Grunt, and an attention seeking Sigh.

“Oh, no. I just heard him Grigh. He must want us to ask why he is so stressed.”
