dad coat 

A big oversized coat that smells like dad. Any style, but faded. Lots of pockets to store all the random junk dads have. Old but keeps you warm and if you’re a kid is a good blanket. Is long enough to cover you up while you take out the trash in your underwear at 11PM.

Mom: Take out the garbage.

Dad: Yeah let me throw on my dad coat, I don’t have any pants on.
