greenie

A high school freshman. Most often referred to this around homecoming time. This term comes into play because at the game, seniors will hunt out freshmen and "green" them. In other words, freshmen will be attacked with green sharpies or buckets of green paint.

senior guy: "There's a bunch of greenies over there. Ya have the paint?"
