Mother Syndrome

When someone who likes you is overprotective and is constantly hovering over you. They take care of you, worry excessively, listen to you and look over you as if they were your mother.

Friend: Does she always check up on you like that?
Yeah she just wants to know I'm okay.
Friend: She must have mother syndrome, bro.
