Polterstink

(a combination of the word poltergeist and stink): an odor so foul and pungent, that its very scent cannot be simply taken away by destroying what it has seeped into and disposing of the remains, for the very stink has intertwined with time and space itself, therefore, for all eternity, there will always be a faint hint of the stink in that place.

Gary: "Dude, the Dunlap's house finally got bulldozed after everyone complained to the city about the stench, but they're building a new house on the land, so it'll finally start smelling better around here."
Mary: "Nah, I wouldn't trust it. There's probably still a polterstink still lingering."
